Jacob Nicholas Rodriguez is the Imperial County Senior Organizer for Jobs to Move America. A lifelong Imperial Valley native, he draws on his lived experience and deep understanding of history, technology, and law to advocate for local residents. As an educator at the Imperial Valley Desert Museum, he traveled and taught students across Imperial County’s vast unincorporated communities and Juvenile Hall, inspiring a love for the region’s natural wonders and storied history through creative activities and lessons.
Embracing the transformative era of Lithium Valley as a catalyst for regional success, Jacob envisions a future where people can stay, sustain families, find fulfillment, and thrive in a healthier Imperial County. Inspired by the resilience of his parents, grandparents, and the hardworking people of Imperial Valley as a whole, Jacob is dedicated to leaving the only community he has called home better for having been a part of it.
