We are working to harness the power of our public dollars to create good jobs in the manufacturing sector for people facing barriers to employment. As manufacturing continues to reshore and electric bus technology advances, few workers have the necessary skills to enter an advanced manufacturing facility without significant job training. The emerging electric bus manufacturing sector does not have a clearly defined skills-training program for job seekers with no experience in electric vehicle manufacturing to safely qualify them for entry-level positions with a growing cluster of electric bus makers in the U.S.

Jobs to Move America is working across the country to develop apprenticeship programs and job pipelines that will ensure people who have historically been denied access to manufacturing careers have the necessary skills to obtain good, family-sustaining manufacturing jobs.
