Shelly is very excited to be joining the JMA family. Previously, she has worked in many different fields such as the arts, tech, marketing and sales. One of her favorite projects she has worked on was what introduced her to the nonprofit sector: The Covid Hope Quilt. Shelly worked with this nonprofit, which was inspired by the mission of the AIDS Quilt, in the early days of the pandemic, skyrocketing visibility into the many lives lost and families affected by COVID-19. Shelly organized events on the White House lawn, Capitol Steps and other locations in and around Washington, D.C. Shelly hopes to use her skills to uplift JMA as an organization and have a hand in the success of their important work. A Northern Virginia Native, Shelly is happily living in NYC with her family enjoying art, history and all the seasons.
