This week we learned of concerning allegations involving Los Retros (Maurisio Tapia) who was originally scheduled to headline a free community concert in El Centro this weekend that JMA is a part of. Los Retros will no longer perform at the event, and we have asked that any publicity or mention of our name be removed from his socials.

At JMA, we believe that building stronger communities starts with ensuring that everyone, especially our most vulnerable community members, are safe and protected from harm. We take these allegations very seriously and will continue to fight for the dignity and safety of all.

The concert will continue, featuring new headline talent, to celebrate the hard work of Imperial Valley residents in building a stronger community.
