Selena Valdez is a passionate advocate for workers’ rights, having dedicated her life to empowering laborers and fostering solidarity. Raised with a strong sense of justice, Selena grew up fighting for fair treatment and recognition for workers. Her journey led her to UC Berkeley, where she studied Ethnic Studies while actively supporting the creation of the Labor Studies minor. With over seven years of experience in HR and program coordination roles, Selena brings a wealth of expertise to her current role at Jobs to Move America, where she connects her HR proficiency to advance the organization’s mission of fostering inclusive workplaces and advocating for equitable labor practices. Through her tireless dedication, Selena continues to inspire change and champion justice for workers everywhere.
