Natalie comes from a significant stretch working as an organizer in the Labor Movement. After two years of teaching communication theory then graduating with her Master’s Degree in Rhetoric, she started organizing unions with SEIU in 2012. Her campaigns in Chicago, the surrounding areas, and on the east coast have centered folks from mental health and developmental disability support workers, public works, FQHCs, higher education adjuncts and support staff. During her time as a proud union organizer, she sought to renegotiate the relationship between labor and capital.
Natalie is eager for the future with JMA so she can do her part to remove as many barriers to opportunity as possible. As Big Bill Haywood said, “Nothing’s too good for the working class.”
