Alyssa Carodine is the Senior Researcher/Campaigner for Jobs to Move America’s Southern Program. She has a background in public health, local government, and academic research.
Prior to joining JMA, Alyssa worked for the Unified Government Public Health Department in Kansas City, KS. She led initiatives focused on improving access to food and decreasing the infant mortality rate. She also led an organization-wide AmeriCorps VISTA program for three years.
Alyssa earned a BA in Anthropology at Auburn University and an MPH from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
